Sirma, Olaus
known also as Čearbmá Ovllá (Gumppe Ovllá), Sirma was born around 1655 in Oarrejávri (Orajärvi, today Finland), Soađegilli / Sodankylä commune, Finnish Lapland, and died in Eanodat / Enontekiö (today in Finland) in 1719.
Sirma was sent to study for the ministry in Uppsala, Sweden in 1672. He is the author of two yoiks in Kemisámi language published in original and Latin translation in J. Schefferus’ Lapponia, 1673. From 1675 until his dead he served as Sámi minister in Eanodat commune.
